Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I’m in my early 50s. When reaching this age, I noticed things shifting and changing in my mind, body, and soul. (more to come on those topics, lol) I know I am not alone so about a year ago I came up with a blogging name, Flashy after Fifty. Life got in the way and that’s all I created was a name. Here I am now, ready to create a safe space for so many like myself. A place where there’s no judgement but a sisterhood that can support one another.

Growing up in the South, I always had a good core of friends. When I moved up North at the tender age of 18, it was crucial for me to find a similar circle to fill in the gap that I was missing back home. For me, friendships are not an options it’s a must! It doesn’t matter how often you talk to someone it’s how you pick up the conversation like you talk often.

Now, speaking of bringing a spark into things! You know that moment when you’re trying to find the perfect outfit that says ‘I’m fabulous, but also ready for anything’? Yeah, that’s the vibe I’m aiming for here at Flashy after Fifty! Join me as we dive into the world of fashion, life, and everything in between, with a touch of sparkle and a lot of laughter. Let’s bring some ‘flash’ to our fabulous fifties and beyond!

I want my blog to inspire, encourage, support, add value, and even inject a bit of humor into the lives of women like me around the world. This blog is for the fashionistas after fifty.
